A salesman at a local department store had just finished his shift one hot August afternoon and was at home with his wife.
"You just won't believe what happened in hardware this evening. In
all my years as a salesman I've never seen anything like it."
"What happened dear?" asked his wife.
"I came across two homeless guys sitting on the floor at the end of
one of the aisles. One of them was drinking battery acid and the other
one was eating fireworks!" replied the salesman.
"Drinking battery acid and eating fireworks!!! What did you do with them?" inquired his wife.
"Oh that was easy," said the salesman. I had the one charged and let the other off."
Moral of the story. True sales professionals know that you may not
believe everything you see during the course of your business day. But
one thing is certain. You must believe in yourself if you are to be
successful.
"You have to believe in yourself. And you have to down deep within
the bottom of your soul, feel that you can do the job that you have set
out to do." - William Castle Devries
