Sales Joke of the Day (May 5) R.O.why?

Salesman:  This computer will cut your workload by 50%.


Office Manager:   And your company will guarantee that?


Salesman: Absolutely!


Office Manager: That's great, I'll take two of them.


Moral of the story:  Be careful of making big fat claims.  They may come back to byte you!  When quoting figures to substantiate concepts like return on investment, make sure they are reasonable and can be substantiated.  A product's value should stand on its own and will never be enhanced by sacrificing the integrity of the salesperson.
