The salesman's wife was in labor with her first child. Things were going pretty well. Traffic to the hospital was light. Their doctor had met them there on time. A room was immediately made available to her.
Suddenly however, the salesman's wife began to shout, "Shouldn't, couldn't, wouldn't, didn't, can't!"
"Doctor, what's wrong with my wife?" asked the salesman.
"Don't worry," said the doctor. "Everything's fine. She's just having contractions."
Moral of the story. True sales professionals know that in order to be successful at sales their communication skills need to be flawless. True sales professionals go that extra mile and put in those few extra letters to let their customers know they mean business. And that is why true sales professionals never use contractions.
