Sales Joke of the Day (March 22) Duck, Duck, Pot.

A circus owner walked into a bar to see everyone crowded about a table watching a little show. On the table was an upside down pot and a two ducks tap dancing on it. The circus owner was so impressed that he offered to buy the ducks from their owner, a salesman.  After some wheeling and dealing, they settled on a price of  $10, 000 for the two ducks and the pot. 



Three days later the circus owner runs back to the bar in anger, "Your ducks are a ripoff!  I put them  on the pot before a whole audience, and they didn't dance a single step!" 



"So?" asked the salesman.  "Did you remember to light the candle under the pot?" 



Moral of the story.  True sales professionals know that in order to succeed at sales, it's best whenever possible to sell complete solutions.   By providing your prospect a complete solution from the start, their satisfaction level goes way up, and your post traumatic sales disorder anxiety level goes way down.   Goose down, even.  So spread your wings, let your sales take flight, and start selling complete solutions today!  Your returns will dwindle to just a trickle of water running off a duck's back.   Your customer's feathers won't get ruffled, and you'll never get stuck with the bill.
